Texting terms

These terms cover the texts Covenant OS sends for Covenant OS accounts, which are sign-in codes and the account notices a person turns on.

1. The program

Covenant OS account texts come from Ministry Marketing LLC, doing business as Church Posting, a Kansas limited liability company ("Covenant OS"), from Covenant OS's registered local number and its verified toll-free number.

2. Messages

  • Sign-in codes: one text each time you ask Covenant OS to text you a code to sign in.
  • Account notices, if you turn them on: replies to your support requests, billing notices for your church's Covenant OS account, and security alerts about your account.

Covenant OS sends no marketing by text under this program.

3. Opt-in

You agree to sign-in codes when you check the box "Text me sign-in codes at this number" on the Covenant OS sign-in page, beside the words shown on the opt-in page. Account notices start when you check the box "Text me account notices" in your profile, beside the second set of words on the same page. The boxes start unchecked and only you can check them, and you can sign in with an email link or a passkey without agreeing to texts.

4. Frequency

One text for each sign-in code you ask for, and up to 10 account notices a month.

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Covenant OS charges you nothing for these texts.

6. Opt-out

Reply STOP to any text. You will get one text confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no more texts after that.

  • These replies work the same way as STOP: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPTOUT.
  • You can also write to hello@churchposting.com or tell anyone on the Covenant OS team, and we stop within one business day.
  • To sign up again, reply START, or UNSTOP on our toll-free number.

7. Help

Reply HELP to any text, or write to hello@churchposting.com.

8. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

The Privacy Policy at https://covenantos.com/privacy explains how Covenant OS handles your number. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

10. Changes

We post any change to these terms on this page with a new effective date, and a change never adds a kind of text you did not agree to.

Texts from churches

Each church that uses Covenant OS texts its own members under its own name, from its own number, and publishes its own texting terms on its church site. Those terms follow the same rules: texts only after a person agrees, STOP ends them at once, HELP brings the church's contact details, and message and data rates may apply.

Effective October 13, 2026.
